Wow. Thanks SO much for the time you took writing that. I really appreciate it. What really interested me most about your post was your thoughts on the 'meaning of life' and the pointlessness of it all. I OFTEN feel this and I think it's the blight of those born with an introspective nature/high intelligence etc. I have some friends who are meathead sportsguys and they never think of these issues and seem quite happy. Oh to be one of those eh?!

In many ways I have concluded that we who go down this one way street are missing a valuable spiritual lesson: I am getting an insight that we spend much of our lives thinking about what will pleasure us, satisfy us, turn us on. At some point this becaomes increasingly difficult with disillusionment/boredon etc and then the 'poin tlessness' sets in. The key is to turn our perspective on life around and think about improving the lot of others. It's hard for us as our past perspective has been 'me' but I really believe that if could think of others before ourselves something magical would happen. Why don't we ever face up to this?
