I had been drinking reverse osmosis for over 15 years. I went away and drank bottled water and whatever was being served in the restaurants. Amazingly I started to feel much, much better: My stomach acid, gas and other issues cleared up, my bladder which is always inflamed felt much better. I realized whatever I was drinking was not filtered as fully as my reverse osmosis and was less acidic.
All over these boards folks talk about the importance of being alkaline. How can you really acheive this with drinking acidic water all day and night? I decided to give a Water Ionizer with a pre-filter a try. It has various stages of filtering and then creates an alkaline water. It's apparently made so the molecules are unclumped, and has anti-oxident properties.
I just got it yesterday. I'm hoping it makes a difference. It wasn't cheap and I realize it's not going to be as finely filtered as my reverse osmosis water. I just felt I couldn't take another glass of acidic water, which is what you get when you make R/O water or distilled. I'm hoping I made the right choice with this machine. I posted here before I bought it to research and didn't get much response. Here's the exact machine I bought.
