How to make your own water distiller

For those that find a store bought distiller too expensive to invest in right now. This is just as effective and actually works a lot faster.

Bring the top lid of your pressure cooker to the hardware or automotive parts store.

Buy some neoprene hose that fits the nipple on the lid of your pressure cooker.

Neoprene is heat resistant and non toxic.

Also buy a hose clamp that fits aronud the hose.

Clamp the end of the neoprene hose onto the nipple on the lid of your pressure cooker.

Get a plastic bucket and coil the neoprene hose as shown in the bucket.

Put a brick or flat stone on the coiled neoprene hose in the bucket to hold the coil under the water.

Put the free end of the hose in the container you want the distilled water to flow into.

All you have to do now is, put the water in the pressure cooker on the stove burner with the lid locked on with medium heat, and watch your distilled water flow out the other end.

The picture above shows you how to do it :)

In the picture above, they used copper tubing instead of neoprene.

I prefer neoprene because soft copper tubing is more toxic than rigid copper pipe.
