Hello Kevin, I hope your move to Oklahoma will provide you with some rest and comfort, and peace of mind. You do sound unhappy where you are. I am glad you are going to go ahead and see your chiropractor. If nothing else, you can rule out a spinal problem. So often displaced vertebra can cause a variety of unusual symptoms. I was cured of reflux disease with a simple neck adjustment after my medical doctor told me I would have to take Nexium the rest of my life. The fact that your pain is spreading also indicated there is something going on with the spine. The same thing is happening to me. I was in so much pain Monday morning, I was actually planning to commit suicide that day. I laid in bed and made out the plan in close detail. Of course, I did not follow through, but the thought is there. Only my faith, which is very weak right now, kept me going; that and an e-mail from a member of Curezone that was so generous and loving, it had to have been a gift from God.

I have read some of Dr. Sha, that Invincible recommended. He does not offer any magic or instant solutions, but he does give some good information. The real problem is that when you are suffering to the degree that you and I are, it is extremely difficult to do all those attitude adjustments, positive thinking and all the other things we hear recommended so often. Still, we have to try and have hope. Visualizing yourself well, saying affirmations and trying to go beyond your pain to do good are essential to healing, although it often seems like a lie when you do it in the midst of suffering. Some people say "fake it 'til you make it". So, please do not ignore this advice, no matter how futile it may seem, try to reach beyond your present circumstances and touch other lives in a positive and loving way. I have tried to do this through Curezone, because I do have a lot of knowledge and experience. While I cannot walk across my house right now, I had hoped I was doing some good by trying to help others on Curezone. Yet others have been very critical and wrote that "sick" people should not be giving advice. This cruel comment reduced me to tears at first; then I realized that anyone who would make such a comment still had some real problems themselves. There are no perfect people here. Don't let the negative people drag you down.

You are young and have a whole life ahead of you. Hopefully this experience will help you develop a special kind of compassion for other hurting people. As hard as this is for you, the experience may shape your future for the better. My doctor has a lot of patients from the Tulsa area. They are willing to drive 140 miles to see him. If you are interested, I'll introduce you to him after you get settled in Oklahoma. I can promise you, he will take you seriously and try to help. He suffered for over seven years with pain similar to what you describe after a motorcycle accident.

I am not sure how much longer I'll be here on Curezone, but I do want to wish you well, now and in the future. Please don't ever give up hope. Hope is the strongest thing any of us have. If you are a praying man, please say a prayer for me, as I have prayed for you from time to time. I am in such agony I can hardly function. Hope is all that is keeping me going.
