Wow what a great story. The cocker spaniel was so smart that he knew if he duplicated the lab's problem he could get a crate too. That brought tears to my eyes; anytime we doubt the intelligence of animals, we are far off the mark.

That's an amazing thing that the cocker knew what it took to get a crate in your home, and acted accordingly.
