Never been back here for a long time, and just seen your post.

Just wondering how you are getting on with your alcoholism/candida? Did you find a connection? Did you get relief from the former through the latter?

I truly hope you did, and I suspect you will have. Once candida becomes common knowledge, as you say, I think it will turn a lot of keys for a lot of people who think there i something /wrong' with them, making them alcoholics.

The waste from candida alters the brain chemistry, and suppresses the production of the brains feelgood chemical, serotonin (spelling?). I think this has a lot to do with the psycological issues surrounding alcoholism. When I dealt with my candida I found peace of mind for the first time since I could remember. The mental state I kept running away from wasnt really me, after all. That turned out to be a terrific comfort in itself.

Anyway, when I posted that very first message I hoped it would turn on a light for just one person. I hope it did,and I hope more follow.
