Hello.
We've been feeding several street cats for months. One of them dissapeared 2 weeks ago, we thought someone took him home (he is a gorgeous white tabby with blue eyes).
Well, today I was getting into my car and I heard cat crying. I checked a nearby drain, and there he was in it, his back foot dangling. I think he was hit by the car and went into the drain. He couldn't climb out of it for 2 weeks, and almost starved to death. Doctor said that that cat's hip is broken in three places. In order to gain some mobility, doctor said he would need to cut the bone (the round tip) and let it heal itself over time. Operation will cost about a $1000. We can't afford it, we have bills, small child, dog, etc. Doctor suggested to possibly put him to sleep. My husband (he is very sweet) decided to keep the cat and take care of him (without operation for now). I'd like to know if there are natural supplements, remedies that can help this cat heal faster. Any suggestions?
