Taste it first to find out your preference, but I add it to vegetable juice that isn't overly sweet. (I don't add it to carrot+apple juice because it is so sweet) The salty flavor ruins that, but, I always add it to my juice if I throw in a tomato. I'm kind of an ex-salt addict and if I would have put salt on my solid veggies, then I add it to my liquid ones too. Is something like 4 or 5% of your daily sodium, so don't add like, alot, but if you have a low sodium diet I can't see how it would hurt to have it in a glass a day. Lots of veggies have protein in them, so unless you have been told by a doctor that you need more, you shouldn't be lacking in protein alllll that much.
