Simple, light from the sun contains UV. The Peak absorption of light by DNA occurs at 280nm. UV causes damage to DNA --> CANCER

I hope that was simple enough for you.

Kevin's book is full of stupid and bogus claims, I still haven't figured out why he has so many supporters. Probably a result of the poor education system, especially on matters of Science and critical thinking.
