The lowdown on ozone air purifiers is this. If it is a corona discharge ozone production system using room air as a feed gas, it will produce NOX in proportion to the amount of humidity in the air.It doesn't matter what name is on the unit or what they "claim" about the unit. If the air has a dewpoint temperature of minus 60 or more(no humidity) then corona discharge does not produce nitrogen compounds. UV ozone systems do not produce NOX from room air nor do ozonators fed with pure oxygen.
