I have been writing a blog about my experiences for about the past year. Here is the link...

I haven't been successful at curing myself but I do have it under control enough that the odor isn't a daily problem. Currently I am using L-Reuteri from Nature's Sunshine vaginally every 2-3 days and taking them orally daily.

They contain something like 23 species of "good" bacteria.

I have tried many different things though, I even had everything under control for awhile - I only had to use a vitamin c tablet vaginally once after my period every couple of months, then I had an IUD inserted in January and it was back full force, I had it removed in June but still haven't recovered from the BV situation caused by it.

I would definitely recommend supplementing whatever treatment you choose with an internal probiotic. Our bodies are a whole, synergistic system. You have to assume that if the bacterial imbalance exists in your vagina then it also exists in your digestive tract and other parts of your body.

Science and modern medicine like to treat us like we are made up of many seperate little parts...
There's the OB/GYN for your reproductive, Cardiologist for your heart, Dermatologist for your skin and so on and so forth.

The truth has to be you must treat the whole as a whole, not a bunch of little parts.

My 2 cents :)
