You could. But it would be comprehensive tests evaluated by several different specialists. Bottom line: better have the money. I personally would look for elevated IgE, and eosinophils. But this would only represent obvious signs. Microscopic eval of stool after purgative agents administred for the small bowel, is a very good tool--provided the observer was qualified. Shroom
