I was actually using the coconut oil to remove henna from my hair(you're supposed to apply an oil and heat it with the hairdryer to cause the henna to release from your hair and bind to the oil) and while it worked only partially, my scalp feels much better. I left it on for about 20 minutes, then washed it out with baby shampoo(the only shampoo I can use without aggravating my scalp/face) I usually have a perpetual itch and can flake off a great deal of skin. I've tried everything, from ACV rinses and prescription strength shampoos(and even Listerine! my mom uses this and it works for me, but it didn't so much for me), and this is the first time that it hasn't immediately gotten itchy again after a day. It did upset my face a little bit, but my facial skin is so easily irritated by anything so I'm not suprised. Anyways, one more success!
