I haven't done colonics, but I do daily coffee enemas - I read that you should never use anything but distilled water for either one. I use sawilsons.com's coffee - organic and grown just for enemas, and I use their bucket instead of the enema bag. It's easier to clean, and it comes with a long tube (I put the tube up in there 14 in. or so). I'll be glad to send you the directions I wrote up, if you're interested.
