Optimally it should be made glass by glass, but I found I would not stick with it and drink the amount I needed so I too make it up a day at a time.

My recipe is

8 cups of water
3/4 cup of maple syrup (grade B)
3/4 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice

I add cayenne as needed to each glass since it blooms and can get really *hot*
the longer it sits. 1/10th teaspoon per glass or MORE :)
