Even taking this story at face value, it's a sad one. Condolences to the dead. That such a sad story was decided by somebody somewhere as worthy of being made into the kind of headline news that it has now become is what really raises my curiosity. Lots of people, many many times more than 6 or 7 people, died unnecessarily today, and yesterday, and will die tomorrow and the day after, and won't make any headline news. Why? Co-incidentally, there was a bit of news being made by a Congress person on the outs as a result of improper behavior with children, but the little news that had been publicly made of this story may be pushed aside becasue of distraction from other news, like more school/gun murders. The ongoing issue being made out of firearms probably has something to do with it. Of all the people dieing in Iraq, the ones we won't hear about via headline news, today, yesterday, tomorrow, as a result of firearms, died as a result of the kind of firearms (government & tax-payer sponsored, soldier operated) that news moguls and their government controllers don't mind. The kind of firearms that took the lives of those Amish girls today were probably the kind that news moguls and their sponsoring governmeng would like to get rid of because they do not approve of that kind. When it comes to the monopoly press, the stories that they do decide to make public news only makes up half the problem with mainstream media. There is a reason for why they tell what they tell and chances are pretty good we'll never know what their reasoning is. We'll probably never know that the version of story they decide to tell is seldom the same as how it really happened. The other half of the problem are those many many stories they decide to never allow into the public as news..... kinda like the tree in the forrest.... if something happens but does not make the news, did it really happen?
