No the stomach does not shrink. But if the intestinal flora in the gut becomes imbalanced you may feel overly full due to improper digestion. While I am no doctor I can make some observations based on my past experience.

Let me ask you a question. Are you using refined, pasturized, store bought apple juice or drinking raw, unfiltered juice? In order to answer your questions correctly, I need to know. Please reply.

Your mood swings can be compared to a roller coaster. High low, high low. You are most likely releasing toxins faster than they can be eliminated. This causes the body to re-absorb toxins and re-distribute them to the various internal organs. This can cause emotional highs and lows.

To address your belly fat question. Belly fat has no direct link to colon toxicity. Belly fat is caused by an improperly balanced diet and lack of exercise. In some cases this may lead to colon toxicity. Colon toxicity and belly fat are linked by the food you eat, not by fasting. If you want to get rid of the belly fat, you need to eat a metabolically designed diet which will burn fat for fuel energy.

I can help you with this if you give me a little more information. Just how much belly fat are we are talking about here? What is you weight, height, build? What do eat on a daily basis? Please reply.

On to the flatulence situation. You may develop foul smelling gas from a fast of this sort. This is because your food is fermenting rather than digesting. You may also be at risk for or suffering from candida over-growth. This condition may contribute to flatulence as well as uncontrolable sugar cravings. Maybe that's the reason you picked the apple juice fast in the first place. Think about it.

Please provide me with a little more information and I'll try my best to get you on back on track.

Good luck on your passage to good health.

Namaste.
