Without growing food ourselves, how will we ever know when coming from a corporate farm how it was handled from seed to plate? I think these latest FDA food scares are intended to misdirect our attentions... 4 - 500 people die every day from legal prescribed medications, where is the headline news on that?

That said, I have been eating raw spinach and salad greens before, during and will after all of this hoopla ends; if it ends... in fact I only rinse my vegetables in water.
