The hot ,cold and pressure sensitivity that starts the day a crown is placed has nothing to do with the fit of the crown.Filing the tooth to a stub causes nerve damage.Also crowning the tooth prevents it from getting circulation.Crowns serve only one purpose;profit for dentists.
Also, gums recede around crowns. Dr Frank Jerome writes about why you should not get crowns in his book Tooth Truth
