sorry just saw your message/question now.

The only fasting I do right now is to have the shake on an empty stomach and then wait a bit to eat. I am too fatigued to deny my body the nutrients. I do find that I need to have probiotics fairly often. I think the P&B shakes do a pretty good job of clearing them away.
