Can someone tell me how oil pulling works to pull out toxins? On a cellular and molecular level? I notice that I always cough and spit up a small quantity of thick phlem afterwards. How does it bring phlem up into my mouth? And why would it eliminate dry cracked heels?

What ratio of water/sea salt should I use to gargle with after I pull? What exactly does the saltwater do for my mouth? I never really thought of salt water as a disinfectant.
