on my back, most likely my left kidney/adrenals. I've never felt these sensations before until I did my first OJ fast back in May. I did that for 21 days and have been raw vegan since. On the fast, it was about 13 days until I started feeling a tingling/tight sensation in my left kidney (I think, not sure). I posted about that here:

Well, it's been about four months since then, and for the past week or two, I've been having these sensations again. Maybe once or twice a day.

These are the only explanations I have:

1.) When, I was fasting, the cleansing/healing reaction occurs more rapidly, so by the 13th day, I was feeling a healing reaction in my kidney/adrenal area. It stopped when I ate food again. Raw vegan diet is supposed to help cleanse and heal, but at a much slower rate than a fast, so now after 4 months, I am getting the same sensations.

2.) By the 13th day on my fast, my body may have been lacking some important vitamins/minerals/electrolytes, and so created this strange feeling. Now, after four months raw, my body is going back into a deficiency.

3.) I was drinking a lot of tea on the fast. Mainly Yogi Tea (Kombucha, Fasting Formula)both non-caffeine, with maple syrup. Lately, with school in session, I've been drinking green tea in the morning as a pick me up. I don't like to be dependent on caffeine though, so I don't want to start a habit. To try and help my adrenals from the caffeine, I've been drinking Yogi Tea, Egyptian Licorice (don't know if that makes a difference). Sometimes, getting enough sleep isn't an option, so I need something! I've been drinking it with raw honey. I might add, that this is the first time I've habitually drank a caffeine beverage in over a year.

Thanks for reading through all this. Probably not the most interesting. If you don't have any suggestions, which do you think sounds most likely, 1,2, or 3?
