Hey BOB,
I could have told you that years ago. Their little "medical" articles are nearly always worthless. They either give bad advice or at least tell you to do stuff that wouldn't make much of an impact. You know, stuff like, "Eat soybeans, garlic, fish, blueberries and ketchup as often as possible to prevent ________" or an article extolling the wonders of mammograms.
The other reading in RD can be pretty entertaining, but health experts they are NOT. They ought to just stop trying.
In a way I don't blame them for taking all those advertisements for drugs - that's where the money's at. And to them, all the types of ads are probably the same, sadly.
Oh well, I don't buy those anyway, I just mooch other people's sometimes. I'll continue doing that! haha
