you could have paid more, but that is about the going price for that model. you did fine, mainly because you are acting on changing your lifestyle, not just thinking about it. you get an A+ for that.

as i said before(but you missed it while you were ordering), the charcoal filters are junk. you can consider them a tip to your seller! do not use them.

you do not need expensive cleaner for your unit, either. a solution of white vinegar will work nicely. i never measure such things so maybe someone else can tell you what % to mix it for cleaning. all i can say is a couple or three gluggs in some water!
