Good point about the activation. I'm sure that proprietary processes for activating, micronizing, water-solubilizing and advertising zeolite can increase its effectiveness. However, if MLM zeolite is, for example, 50 times as effective and 1000 times as expensive as natural zeolite, taking more natural zeolite may achieve the same result for less cash.

After a little detective work, tracing from the page selling the green zeolite powder, I found the source of green zeolite mined in the Amargosa Valley.

It is clinoptilolite, the same type of zeolite found in the MLM cash-adsorbing products. I am hoping that I can get an analysis from the mining company to post here. If the Amargosa Valley is a low heavy metal environment, the zeolite may not contain many heavy metals, making activation less important.

If anyone wants to be sure they are getting pure activated clinoptilolite without paying $40 to $50 for a 15 ml bottle, there is a veterinary product called Vetamin. I don't sell it, but if y'all want to get a pyramid scheme started, uh, never mind.

Serendipitously, along the way I found a web page which suggests that activated charcoal does nothing to bind inorganic mercury in the digestive tract. The page goes on to say that it doesn't matter because inorganic mercury is poorly absorbed by our digestive systems anyway. I also took activated charcoal before having my Amalgams taken out. I'm sure it didn't hurt anything.
