How wonderful your arches are back!

I went to a podiatrist a month ago due to foot pain and he gave me inserts. He told me my foot was, how did he say it, falling? The pain was from sore muscles (planar fasciatis) and a heel spur but the falling part was because I am getting older, so he said (I am 50). The inserts and stretching exercises were suppose to get rid of the pain but he offered no hope for my fallen feet, just accept it.

I have not trusted regular doctors for some time now and so didnt believe i was so old and hopeless. (I only went to him because I couldnt stand the pain and my homeopath couldnt help me)

I am interested, do you think the tai chi as a whole helped your feet or mainly the new foot position for walking? If it was the new position, maybe you could help me understand what you are doing. Is it more like where your toes are pointing or is it more like the tilt of your foot?

Thanks
