If you have been reading my posts, you have probably also read a growth and evolution of research and understanding. Curezone and its regulars are the center of that educational hub for me.

"We are made up of 'billions & billions' of live organisms,"

The way I like to look at it is this we live through a symbiotic relationship with those cells that make us flesh... without them we do not exist. Take care for, and love them (our cells) as we would care for and love our children and we will live long, happy, healthy lives.

The Star Wars Saga and human anatomy (I was a Science major) clashed one night when I realized that the Krebs cycle and mitochondria where analogous to midichlorians found in Jedi Blood.

"Without the midichlorians, life could not exist and we would have no knowledge of the Force"

Qui-Gon

I know some people will go huh? But it sure struck a cord with me...

Without mitochondria we would not exist. Mitochondria cannot survive without a cell and we cannot survive without the mitochondria, a TRUE symbiotic relationship.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondria

"Mitochondria have their own DNA and may, according to the endosymbiotic theory, be descended from free-living prokaryotes that were closely related to rickettsia bacteria."

Symbiotic - Biology: the living together of two dissimilar organisms, as in MUTUALISM, commensalism, amensalism, or parasitism.

blessings and good night... time for bed :-)
