Greetings from the bottom of the learning curve!
First of all, make yourself a nice big glass of carrot juice!
Ingredients:
1 c. carrot pulp
2 c. soaked pecans
1/3 c. soaked dried cherries
Process pecans & cherries through juicer (I have a champion)using flat plate.
Mix with carrot pulp. Voila! you're done!
Now, this is a sweet pate. I can imagine adding cinnamon, cloves, ginger...maple syrup, if you want it REALLY sweeet.
I would imagine it would be good on sliced apples. Gonna get some tomorrow...right now I'm eating it with Celery and the Celery just isn't quite right. This is my first time making pate so any comments, suggestions or criticism is welcomed! :D mmmm....it's good...it's also really rich...I think I'll add almonds next time?
Edited: it's EXCELLENT with sliced apples!
