Hey :) I've noticed within the past little while my short-term memory has been awful - I don't remember where I put things, I don't remember the last thing a person said... this is particularly difficult given that I'm a university student and need to take notes on what my prof is saying - yet, at times his last sentence completely evades me. I just draw a blank. Just while writing this I knew I made a spelling error, but forgot where it was in the message to fix it.

I'm only 18, this shouldn't be happening!! I don't know if it's because I've been cleansing since June 2005, only eating fruits/veggies/oils, along with supplements (spirlina, B-vits, iron, digestive enzymes, calcium, zinc, and a fresh herbal tonic 4x daily). Although I've been cleansing for over a year, I'm not finished yet, though my body is getting better. I was in horrible shape from 2004 to 2005, and my doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and kept sending to me specialists - who sent me to other specialists - all of whom scratched their heads and gave me toxic medicines to "try". I've lost a lot of weight since starting my cleanse due to obvious dietary restrictions, and weigh somewhere around 95 pounds (5'5 frame). Is the lack of protein in my diet and my low weight affecting my brain negatively? I don't want to stop cleansing when I've come so far!! I am under the supervision of an excellent naturopath, however.

Is there anything I can do to improve my short-term memory? I've read about some herbs that claim to improve memory, but I'm admittedly wary.

Any input is appreciated!!
