Dear Barefoot Herbalist,
We are at wits end with molluscum warts on my 4yr old son that are spreading like wild fire.
We've used numerous remedies and the worst and most disastrous thing we think we did was getting sucked into this molluscom.com site w/ various ionic silver products, which included an electrical current machine that has these silver probs . The co. also advised us to squeeze mature warts-- I was extremely hesitant to do so , but my husband did a couple (probably improperly) and I suspect that is what has caused the spread. We have used banana , tea tree oil as well. The original 3 warts on his stomach have spread looking like constellations and m"milky way" tiny wart rash (like chicken skin near larger warts) . The older ones are red and angry looking and we are told they are going away when they look like this.
Pls. inform if u think we should continue to use this silver prob machine. We put a poltice of banana on his trunk and I think the warts got redder IS THIS A GOOD SIGN? But I don't know if the darkness, moist banana peels over night caused more warts due to trapping moisture?
Now My son screams when I put the silver machine on some of the mature warts--
HE doesn't eat meat and eggs--I try to give him a balanced diet. He is prone to carbs, dairy, fruit (esp. bananas), nuts and veggies in that order of quantity. His blood was tested and he is in the ok range for iron --but it is borderline to being deficient. Any tried and true homepathic remedy, diet, supplement suggestions would be appreciated. We are exhausted by this battle and although benign--they are travelling to very visible places and feel for this vulnerable aged 4yr son of ours.

We are now adding thuja oil to our efforts and
