People have pulled with a variety of conditions, including root canal work. I should think that the act of oil pulling would be helpful for all dental conditions. No one seems to have had any problems. It's simply swishing oil around the mouth, and doesn't need to be done vigorously. It's gentle, but at the same time powerful in the pulling of toxins.
