wow, we have a lot in common.

my mother died at 61. she kept working even though she had been on some kind of meds and doctors all her life, including three rounds of electroshock therapy in the early 60s and two surgeries on her brain for tic delaru(sp), tons of nerve pills and pain killers, perpetual Antibiotics , the works. she would not quit so she could draw her social security. my dad got a single $300 death benefit and that was it.

i never thought i would make it past the year 2000 because of my church upbringing. jesus was supposed to come long before i got this old so i never gave a moments thought about longevity or old age or the ecology or any of it. i figured we were all either going to heaven or hell in a hand basket and that it was sure to happen before now. the church stole my youth, stole my health, and damn near got my soul, too. i hate all lies. now i know where they all come from, and it aint from god!
