Any animal in dreams represents an emotional aspect of your own nature. The teeny, tiny kitten indicates a kind of feeling in which its goodness has been greatly exaggerated. It also indicates a feeling that should not be felt too intensely. It needs to be greatly downplayed. A kitten, as used in this dream, can refer to the idea of “a sex kitten” – that is, the kitten can reflect feelings of having sex appeal.

When seen this way, what you are trying to do in this scene is to “make a case for” the feeling of being a sex kitten. (trying to put kitten in a carrying case). Because this case seems designed for a saw or drill, it a case for a tool. What this implies is that you are trying to make a case for the idea of a sex kitten as being “a tool” – a means to some end. However, here you have no real case for a feeling of being a sex kitten. (the niche wasn’t shaped like a kitten) The several repetitions of trying to put the kitten into the case also indicate that the act of trying to make a case for this type of feeling is not a positive one (which would be shown by just one try).

When you come to a higher state of awareness (when I woke up) you would not feel you were doing something to feel proud of. (I felt terrible about it)
