Oh boy can I relate to your post!!! I used to get depressed on Friday afternoons because I knew the weekend would just fly by and I would be back at work before I knew it. LOL! Plus I have a 1:20 hour commute (one way) and the rains have started. THank God for books on tape. I could do my job in two days too so I don't have much to do most of the time and my boss won't let me work from home because other certain whiners would want to as well. I hate it. I hate the responsibility. I hate it when they hire computer illiterate people and expect me to train them. I hate it that they just let everyone do what ever they want and make up a stupid rule when they screw up, which not one follows anyway. I especially hate the politics, the back stabbing and the stupid games we are forced to play all for the benifit of the people who own the company and our paycheck.

And having to deal with the same people for 28 years now (of course some have come and gone - and come back). What I really hate is having to deal with personalities. The squeaky wheels always get preference over the ones that just do their jobs. I don't have much patience for the BS, but you have to put up with it. Then you are expected to go to the Xmas party and the picnic to hang out with people you see day after day and may not particularly like. And after 28 years I'm still here just as stuck as I was 20 years ago. Well, not really but sometimes I feel like it.

But what the hell, it pays the mortgage. sigh........ Oh to be able to do what I love and make a living........

But, I am fortunate to be able to cut back a day so I have Wednesdays off. It sure makes a huge difference knowing I only have to work two days, then have a day off.
