Yes, you are currently an ovo-lacto vegetarian, meaning you still consume eggs and dairy. I think you are definitely doing the right thing, but it is a matter of opinion. You have to what's right by you.

I am also ovo-lacto, but cutting back on the amount of dairy. I don't expect to become a full-time vegan, but I do eat vegan quite a lot.
