Visible parasites can become stained by blood or feces. Tapeworms are a grayish white - when clean - in the stool, they may look tan, brown, black or even a greenish color. Ascaris are white - again, when clean. I promise you this - real, live parasites coming out look very different in different people - even if they are the same species. Pictures of visible parsites show them after they have been retrieved and washed. Also the body breaks them down on their way out, so therefore they can even look weirder in the stool. Is weirder a word? LOL!
