good question. i would think the garden bacteria and the bacteria you plan to eat will be brewed separately. don't know about the garden.
but this is what i thought about doing for personal consumption. i want to try brewing either the primal defense or another SBO product because the EM irritates my lungs. i thought i might get a yogurt maker and use that as my brewing device. the yogurt maker with the individual glass containers. the yogurt makers keeps a constant warm, but not hot, temp, perfect for bacteria growth. then i will try different mediums in each container.
i think the main thing to feed the organisms would be molasses. then you would have to decide a medium in which to grow it it. kefir, yogurt, soy yogurt all come to mind. but you could also try veggies. like blend up some cabbage and molasses in a blender, add the bacteria of your choice, put it in the yogurt maker and see what happens.
these are all just theories and plans, i havent done any of this yet, but i already ordered some PD and the product from swanson that they claim has SBO's in it (tho some say its just a probiotic, and doesn't contain true SBO's) once i get them i will try different things.
anyway, just some ideas i am throwing out there for you or anyone else.
