Hmmm, maybe having a rough day was contagious...
However, the both of you have been doing sooooo well, don't give in to the food monster unless HUNGER demands. There is a difference...but sometimes acid pangs or gas or toxins make us THINK we are hungry. Here is a good way to tell (just picked this up today...and it worked for me).
Take a mouthful of your liquid of choice and hold it in your mouth as long as you can. If you can hold it for 10, or 15 minutes, the liquid most likely will have had time to signal your brain that it's call to muster has been satisfied.
Don't give in to chicken!!! It creates toxins in your body. If you MUST put something in your mouth...do a bite or two or three of fruit. Chew and spit. Nasty...but effective.
Just an unrelated observation:
I weigh myself every single morning. Never miss a day. Here is why (example)... whether fasting or transitioning...if you weigh 170 the first morning...drink nothing but lemonade all day...then weigh in at 167, you know your body accepted your input and still managed to detox and lose weight at maximum capacity.
If you drink (let's say...six) glasses of freshly juiced grapes and the next morning you weigh in at 165 then you are cooking...on fire...hot-to-trot! You feel so excited! You now know that in order to lose two pounds while fasting this way, you must only drink 6 glasses.
If you drink (let's say...twelve) glasses of freshly juiced grapes during the day, and the next day you weigh in at 166...you gained a pound. You now know that for some reason your body found it hard to deal with the twelve and need to reduce your juice intake.
Next day. 10 glasses. Next morning 166. Still need to reduce the consumption. You didn't gain, but you didn't lose...so your intake is still too much for your body to get rid of...
Next day: 8 glasses. Next morning 165. You know know how many glasses it takes for you to reduce 1 pound at a time.
It helps when I weigh in for transition as well.
Have a salad with chicken and cheese...be two pounds heavier during weigh in. It may not stay...it just may be there because your body hasn't disposed of it all yet. Have a salad with lettuce, tomato and avocado...be the same weight in the morning.
By weighing in each morning and logging the results in my food journal, I can see which food/juice combinations and amounts help me lose, maintain, or gain.
See all the little games I made up to keep myself amused??? lol.
