the idea that vegetarians live linger is not really true. the longest living poeple on earth are the japanese and the okinawans (a part of japan) they eat small amounts of raw fish every day, also roe which is raw fish eggs. they don't eat lots and lots of meat, this is true. but no predominantly vegetarian culture is very long lived.
