It would be one thing if each user could choose to not allow others to have access to every single post that s/he has posted... then it wouldn't be an issue. It wouldn't even be a big deal to me if it had been this way from the beginning. However, when I came here and began posting, I did so with the knowledge that people wouldn't have easy access to all of my posts. At first glance, it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really does feel like an invasion of privacy in some situations.
For instance, let's say I usually post in the 'Ask Curezone' forum but I have a personal sex question and post that on the 'Sex' forum. I don't necessarily want everyone on all of the forums having easy access to all of my most vulnerable posts! Also, I don't necessarily want people reading posts that I wrote when I first arrived because that doesn't at all represent who and where I am now.
I just spent the last hour deleting many of my old posts... not because I was untruthful or anything like that... just because I don't want everyone having a full history of my posts! If I get in trouble for that, so be it... I don't have to hang out around Curezone to survive!
