I don't know about earwax being acidic but many viruses enter through the ear...
Ear wax may build up to prevent further viral attacks? In any case. apple cider vinegar is acidic and wonderful for skin conditions... Before I would dig in my ear, I would try acv first...but I am not discounting the ear wax theory...
