I am very interested in the treatments you suggest and would like to explore them. I also believe that exercise and targeted muscular development will help to reduce the curvature. My wife has, (age 55) developed a bulge in her disc between L4 and L5 and is in horrid pain as the bulge is pressing on a nerve that makes her leg go numb and is in constant pain. The Dr.s say the only solution is fusion now and again in a short period of time and possibly more in a few years. The risks make the decision hard for her because she understands the down side of the surgery but is having a hard time coping with the pain. Please advise.
