I've found that for me during a fast, nothing works as well as a warm Sea Salt solution cleansing enema. I usually take one first thing in the morning, or before taking a bath at bedtime. Sometimes both.

I find enemas to be refreshing and relaxing, and if I have a headache beforehand, it's usually gone by the time I'm finished.
