I have a similar phobia though not as severe. I do get very nervous around pigeon, especially when they flap around. Anyway, I've decided to one day confront my fear and go to Trafalgar Square and feed the pigeons. I really hope that gets rid of this fear.

On a side note, I was just curious as to what this phobia would be called, so I checked the scientific name of a pigeon, and decided that the phobia must be called "Colombaphobia". :) Sounds much cooler to say I have Colombaphobia, than to say I'm afraid of a bird.
