I had scoliosis surgery 22 years ago - avoid it all costs. I now believe I have a connective tissue disorder (collagen) that is causing the curvature - which are still there despite MASSIVE LIFE ALTERING SURGERY. I believe many cases are due to connective tissue disorders which if treated will correct the curvature. Mercury fillings could be a problem - a crossbite could be a problem - there are so many ways to solve this besides surgery. Please do not go this route. I wish to heaven I never did.
