My thoughts as well. As for liver damage and probiotics, I'm not certain of that either, and this situation would be strange to cause liver damage as I had less than a cup of the tea, and the whole bottle contains less than a couple of my probiotic pills. Also, I haven't used any probiotics for the past couple of weeks while on my cleanse.
But I do wonder if it could have in some way affected my bile. I know that SIBO can deconjugate bile before it can be used for fat metabolism, I wonder if the same thing happens with kombucha, and I wonder if I should avoid using it around meals. This time I drank it shortly after dinner so that it wouldn't clash with my Grapefruit-Seed-Extract later that night.
Oh well, I'm baffled.
