Since you brought up the bible I would like to say one thing. Focus on the giver not the gift. Want his presence,His glory, not his hand/gift. Psalm 77:14-15 says "You are the God of miracles". This has been difficult for me, but your true healing comes when you keep your eyes on Jesus. Hope this does not offend anyone. Believe and you will recieve. There is always hope in that.
