Have you read the book? Here's a link in case you haven't: http://healthandlight.com/TheMasterCleanse.pdf
I reference that thing all the time when I have questions. I like the online version because I can do searches and it's faster than skimming through the hard copy looking for something! :)
The book suggests drinking the tea at night and doing the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) in the morning. But if you can't do the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) (or don't want to), then do another cup of tea.
If the tea gives you cramps, then try steeping it for less time.
There has been a time or two when I've gagged on the SWF, but those were usually mornings when I wasn't feeling well in the first place. There are people who just can't handle drinking 32 ounces of salt water. My husband was one of them. I would mix the 2 teaspoons of salt into enough water to make the solution (about 4 ounces) and have him drink that and then the rest of the 32 ounces in just plain water. He was able to handle that, so this is what he did every day.
The SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) usually works its way through your system within an hour and a half. Some people have had it come out within 20 minutes! So, the first time you do one, you may want to allow yourself time to be near a bathroom. And when you get the urge to go, you'd better go, go, go or you'll be cleaning up a mess. I typically have 3-4 good "butt-pee" sessions and then I'm done for the day. It leaves me feeling very clean. I actually miss them when I first get off the cleanse!
Each part of the cleanse has a definite function! They are all equally important. Good luck to you on your health journey!
