Just thought I'd tell you that I started the Master Cleanse. Frankly it's working along with changing my thoughts about alcohol. It's a holiday and I'm not eating or drinking and I feel great! My eyes look clear, I have energy...I went to the store and didn't buy any alcohol. I bought a bag of lemons and mineral water. This cleanse is basically drinking water, lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper along with a salt water flush you do in the mornings. Supposed to be great for alcoholics because frankly, there's something in this lemon/mineral water mix that just gets rid of the craving! You start feeling clean! And it feels great to get toxins out of your body...For any alcoholic that is at the end of their rope like I was, make a decision, envision yourself as a whole new person and just start it. You may be surprised because addictions too, are what we mentally tell ourselves. Like we need a drink to sleep, calm down, be social, etc. The best I ever felt was before I ever drank and I never thought about it. I was 14.
