Red Sox Nation (myself included) is really saddened by the news of Lester having lymphoma : ( I'm sure that a lot of people are shocked that someone so young and healthy could be seriously ill. I'll definitely be sending healing energy his way as he begins treatment this week.

I had enlarged lymph nodes on my neck a while back. The doctor called it "lymphadenopathy" (which is a fancy term for enlarged lymphs). He ordered a ct-scan of my neck and chest area to check the lymph nodes. That (along with bloodwork) is how he ruled out anything serious.
